How to prepare for college

        Do you want to go to college but are unsure how to get ready?  Are you worried about the SATs?  Unsure how to apply?  There are ways to get help with test preparation, college applications and tutoring. Here are some places to turn.

COLLEGE PREP AND APPLICATION HELP

The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development runs several Beacon programs in Brooklyn. Some high schools run their own school based to help their students prepare for college. 

NYU Metro Center runs the Brooklyn Academy which is located within the Boys and Girls High School building.

Project Youth Reach serves students at John Jay.

TEAK Fellowship
